Ann-Jeannette's Italy 2012
Gearing up for Italy has been crazy! I’ve been packing, doing
tons of paperwork, starting online classes, and weighing luggage. By some
miracle I’ve been able to keep the large suitcase under 50 pounds! Packing for
four months is pretty tricky and the amount of paperwork is overwhelming. My family has run our yard sale for two
weekends and they have done a fabulous job! On top of getting myself ready I
have been preparing three kiddos for the new school year.
So nervous and excited all at the same time! I have never
been more terrified about anything in my life. Each time I feel like I’m going
to explode with worry, I think about the many people who have paved this road
for me and what great examples they are. Crazy stuff! I am so grateful for the support I have from
my dear family and friends. Their kind motivating words are what get me through
each mountain that is put in front of me. I could not do this without them. So Blessed!
I’ve been learning some Italian phrases and words. Little
things from my Spanish class in high school sneak in; it is a very similar
language base.
I can’t believe I only have 3 days left before I board my
plane!
